For Alumni

For Alumni

Alumni play a valuable role in the professional development opportunities afforded to all members of the HGSE community. Whether you are looking to support the community, expand your network, or advance in your own career, here are some of the ways to get involved.

Career Coaching

Our career coaching provides guidance and support to alumni at different stages of their career journey. We believe in creating a goal-oriented and holistic approach in our sessions. Many topics may include career and self-assessment, exploration, resume/CV building, networking, and branding, job search strategies, interview preparation, negotiation skills, transition planning, and career advancement.

Become a Mentor

Hundreds of alumni from all graduation years and programs participate in the Student-Alumni Mentoring Initiative (SAMI) each year. This initiative aims to support students in achieving their personal and professional goals through pairing a current HGSE student with an alum, in a 1-to-1 mentoring connection, throughout the academic year. The Alumni Mentor application opens mid-June.
